Ann Rodiger is the Founder and Director of the Balance Arts Center in New York City. She has nearly 40 years of teaching the Alexander Technique. Her teaching draws from her knowledge from teaching the BAC Teacher Training Course and private lessons in the US and abroad as well as her knowledge of Labanotation, Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Yoga, meditation and various dance techniques. She has developed the BAC Alexander Technique Teacher Training Program and substantial programming for performing artists. She has also adapted the Alexander principles to work for those with hypermobility and Ehlers Danlos Syndromes. Rodiger teaches internationally in Germany, Belgium, Greece, and Turkey. The Balance Arts Center is a NYC Women and Minority Owned Business and a thriving place for the community to teach, share knowledge, and perform.
Clare Maxwell trained in Alexander Technique and The Art of Breathing at ACAT after a long career in experimental dance. She also trained in The Dart Procedures with Joan and Alex Murray, and Framework for Integration with Luc Vanier and Elizabeth Johnson. Clare loves working with psychotherapists, and created Mobile Body Alignment and Cranial Nerve Sequencing to facilitate a more somatically vibrant experience of the Alexander Technique principles in motion.

Laurie Kline

Alexander Technique
Laurie Kline was certified in the Alexander technique in 1990 and been teaching for 34 years.
She studied extensively with master teachers in London as well as working for years with breathing expert Carl Stough who authorized her to teach his work. She is also certified by the Open Focus biofeedback Center in Princeton New Jersey.
Originally a professional dancer, Laurie loves working with students from all walks of life.

Michael Ostrow

Alexander Technique
Michael Ostrow was certified by both AmSAT and STAT in 1990. He is co-director of a training with Thomas Lemens where he also teaches anatomy and voice. He has worked with a wide variety of clients, from performing artists and athletes, to office workers with chronic pain. Before studying the Alexander Technique, he spent years studying Zen Buddhism, which still informs his understanding of the Alexander Technique.

Since 2003, Reiki Master Teacher Jean Bromage has been helping others through both her private sessions and classes to heal their physical and emotional challenges while awakening to their inner wisdom, creative expression and intuitive gifts.
Jean is also a Certified Medical Reiki Master and Secretary of the Board of Directors for Medical Reiki Works, an organization supporting a pilot study on the benefits of Reiki during surgery.
